Odum School of Ecology
With roots that date back to the 1950's, the Odum School of Ecology at the University of Georgia offers undergraduate and graduate degrees, as well as a certificate program. The former Institute of Ecology became the Odum School July 1, 2007 and is the first of its type in the world. Founder Eugene P. Odum is recognized internationally as a pioneer of ecosystem ecology. The school is ranked eighth by U.S. News and World Report for its graduate program.
